Strange Women Love For Strange Women

Strange women love For Strange Women, and with lip balms like Poison Ivy and Absinthe Lips and perfumes like Violin in the Attic and Satin Corset who wouldn't?! Jill McKeever is the owner and creator of For Strange Women, and she draws her inspiration from the Victorian era. Her marvelous Etsy shop is full of its influence, and I just couldn't resist finding out a little more about Jill and her fellow strange women.

First, I have to ask... How did you choose the name for your business?

The name was chosen very easily. I had a perfume that I made for myself a long time ago that was called "tincture for strange women" and I just stuck with it.

What is a quote that inspires or speaks to you?

"The way to health is to have an aromatic bath and scented massage every day" - Hippocrates  (Tiffany says: Hippocrates and I share wavelengths I tell you...)

What would you say is your specialty?

Perfume blending is my specialty.

How long have you been on Etsy? Do you sell elsewhere?

I have been on Etsy for two and a half years. I also sell at boutiques across the country.

Out of all the products you create, which one is your favorite?

My favorite product is always my newest one - so right now I am almost done with a line of cologne oils, and I am so excited that I can't help but make them my new favorite.

Check out the strange and beautiful creations of For Strange Women!
